1) In first or second year look for IISc KVPY, in third or fourth year look for IISc YEFP, TIFRs VSRP, THen internships at ITC (genrally for IITians),
2) Apply at UCLA IPAM for RIPS program. YOu can also look for PARC internships at the end of your final year.
3)Also look out for british council BOND program and browse the site http://www.daad.de and look for internships in germany. I am not posting details here as i avoid spoon feeding. please do google on the key words in caps and i will be happy to answer any specific querie on these

2. Telnet group at IIT Madras offers good internship opportunities in summer (PAID). Check it out
